Dr Garth Pywell

Garth holds a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic, graduating from Macquarie University in 2003. Having worked in clinics in Sydney, Newcastle and Dubbo, it became apparent to Garth that while the majority of patients responded to chiropractic care, others still did not. He went on to study the effect of emotions and toxicity on the human body, and along with wife Tegan, founded Awakening Health and Chiropractic Centre in an effort to address and educate people on the mind-body connection.

He continued his studies in Neuro-Emotional Technique, as well as education in paediatrics, mental health and endocrine function, and in 2010 attended RMIT for further studies in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Garth is a teacher and practitioner in Aura-Soma Colour Care System, a colour therapy system that helps to bring balance to the body-mind, and combines this system with his chiropractic bodywork therapy, to provide a more holistic view on patients’ health and wellbeing.

As the principal chiropractor at Awakening, Garth is a passionate practitioner with a drive for getting results for his patients, whether through the services he provides, or by working together with other practitioners as part of an integrative team approach.
